Summer Screen Time?

School may be out, but screens certainly aren't.

Whether it's gaming, YouTube, social media, or texting friends, most kids spend significantly more time looking down during the summer months.

And adults aren't much better.

The problem isn't just the screen itself - it's the position.

Forward head posture places tremendous stress on the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

Family posture challenge:

  • Wall posture test: Head, shoulders, and hips against a wall for 60 seconds.

  • Screen break rule: Every 30 minutes, stand up and move for 1 minute.

  • Chin tucks: Gently pull your chin straight backward. Hold 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

Small posture habits today can prevent bigger problems tomorrow.
