James Davisson, DC
Doctor of ChiropracticDr. James Davisson, owner and founder of Avant Chiropractic, is a proud native of Fort Worth, TX. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas and graduated with honors from Parker University, where he was Salutatorian. His internship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital refined his chiropractic skills. Passionate about serving families, athletes, and children, he resides in Northlake, TX, with his wife Marysa, their two sons, and dog Graham. He aims to build community connections through personalized, patient-centered chiropractic care.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, staying active, exercising, creating music, and hasn’t met a food he doesn’t like.
Michelle
Office ManagerMichelle, Office Manager at Avant Chiropractic, grew up in the Fort Worth area. She holds a degree in Mental Health and Human Services and has dedicated her career to various aspects of health and wellness, including fitness, mental health, and holistic practices. Michelle finds joy in witnessing people heal from within. Married for 29 years, she has three daughters and three grandchildren.
In her free time, she enjoys live music, yoga, reading, listening to podcasts, supporting the Dallas Cowboys, and hosting lively family gatherings.
Emily
Front Desk CoordinatorEmily has lived in the Fort Worth area for 26 years. Her favorite part about working at Avant is getting to know the clients and watching them improve their overall health. She is always looking to learn something new and help out where she can. She has been married for 24 years and has three children. Her family resides in the Fort Worth/Alliance area.
In her free time, Emily enjoys exploring Texas State Parks, reading, and dining out. Gardening is her therapy and exercise of choice. She hopes to complete the Texas Master Naturalist program within the next three years. If you’d like to talk for hours about botany, she’s your girl!
Marketing Assistant Doctor of Chiropractic (pending licensure in Texas)Amanda Bordelon-Ross
Amanda grew up in historic downtown Roanoke, TX. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University and is currently completing her licensing requirements while continuing her education through the Master’s program in Strength and Human Performance at Parker. While finishing her licensure process, Amanda supports the Avant Chiropractic team through marketing, community outreach, and patient education. She enjoys helping people better understand movement, posture, and the root causes of pain.
Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband Connor, a band director, traveling, supporting the marching band community, and spending time with her dachshunds, Thor and Obi-Wan. During baseball season, she enjoys traveling to Daikin Park for Houston Astros games!
