Moms Carry Everything...
Moms carry kids, groceries, schedules, emotional labor… and usually a whole lot of tension in their neck, shoulders, and low back.
From the moment they wake up, they’re already thinking about everyone else - lunches to pack, rides to coordinate, work to manage, and a never-ending to-do list that rarely includes themselves. Most moms are constantly lifting, bending, multitasking, and pushing through fatigue without a second thought.
And over time, that adds up.
Most moms don’t ignore pain because they don’t feel it - they ignore it because everyone else comes first.
But your body keeps score. That tight neck, those sore shoulders, that low back ache at the end of the day… it’s your body asking for a little attention too.
Simple resets every mom can do:
Shoulder melt: Sit tall, inhale and lift shoulders up, exhale and let them drop completely. 10 slow reps.
Neck release: Gently look side to side like you’re saying “no,” keeping it slow and relaxed. 30-60 seconds.
Daily walk: Even 10 minutes helps circulation, posture, and stress regulation.
Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish - it’s necessary. When you feel better, you show up better for everyone around you.
And moms deserve to be taken care of too.
If you’ve been putting yourself last, consider this your reminder - it’s okay to prioritize your health. Whether it’s a few minutes of movement, a walk outside, or getting your body checked, small steps make a big difference.
Mother’s Day is the perfect time to reset.
Book yourself an adjustment and give your body the care it’s been asking for - or it makes a thoughtful, meaningful gift for a mom in your life who could use a little extra support.
