Skiing, snowboarding, running, indoor leagues - winter sports and activities are fun… until soreness turns into pain.
Recovery matters just as much as activity.
Post-activity recovery tips:
Hip flexor stretch: Half-kneeling position, gently shift forward until you feel a stretch in the front of the hip. Hold 30 seconds each side.
Upper back mobility: Do 10 slow “open book” rotations per side to relieve stiffness.
Hydrate + move: Even light movement the next day helps prevent stiffness from settling in.
If pain lingers longer than a few days, your body is asking for help - not to rest forever. We always love to keep you active while you recover, but sometimes it’s about reducing the intensity and adding more mobility while still staying active!
